“How do I unlock that unit I saw?” In Dust Front, advanced units are gated behind buildings — construct the prerequisite and the unit becomes producible. This map is built straight from each entry's tech requirements in the game data.

How to read this: each card is a building you can construct; the chips beneath are the units (and further buildings) it makes available. A unit that needs two buildings is listed under each, with the extra requirement noted. The Rebels campaign has the deepest tech path; other factions are thinner in the current build.
